Declaration That Land Shall Vest in the Queenstown-Lakes District Council and Approval of Application of Proceeds of Sale or Lease of the Said Land

PURSUANT to the Queenstown Reserves Vesting and Empowering Act 1971, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall vest as an estate in fee simple in the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the District of Queenstown-Lakes, and further declares that all money received by the council on the sale or lease of the said land shall, in accordance with the said Act, be paid by the Council into a separate account, known as the Queenstown Reserves Sales Account, and such monies shall be applied solely in contributing towards the cost of the Arthurs Point Sewerage Scheme at Queenstown.
