Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (site for community buildings) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Taupo County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of or for the benefit of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Declaration That Private Land Shall be Protected Private Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the private land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be protected private land for scientific purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Brooklyn Bay Scenic Reserve.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a foreshoreline reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be leased or sold by the Mount Wellington Borough Council on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such leasing or sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
