1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice
   Hamilton 1987, No. 2.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
   revoked.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block IX, Waimata
Survey District, Waikohu

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the
Schedule hereto for road, which is to vest in the Crown and to be
used for the widening of State Highway No. 2 at Kaiteratahi.

The taking is considered reasonably necessary for the safe and
convenient use of the road.

Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within
20 working days after the date of this notice send an objection to
the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice
Department, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed
of the time and place of the hearing.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 48 square metres, situated in Block
IX, Waimata Survey District, and being part Lot 1, D.P. 2737; as
shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 7513, lodged in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Gisborne.

The land is situated off State Highway 2 at Kaiteratahi about 30
kilometres north east of Gisborne, and forms part of the land held
by the Kaiteratahi Hall Association.

A copy of the plan may also be seen at the office of the District
Commissioner of Works at Napier.

The date of first publication of this notice is the 3rd day of
September 1987.
