Declaring an Easement Acquired to Convey Water Over Land for Development of Water Power Waikaremoana Scheme in Block III Waiua Survey District, Wairoa District
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement (to convey water) is hereby acquired for the development of Water Power Waikaremoana Scheme (and may be surrendered at any time by notice in the Gazette) and shall vest in the Crown on the 27th day of August 1987, a right to convey water by means of underground pipes through the land described in the First Schedule such grant being in accordance with the rights and powers contained in clauses 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, provided that:

The Crown shall pay the costs of maintaining and repairing the pipeline.

The owners of the land in the First Schedule and their successors in title shall not erect any building or structure nor plant any tree or shrub on the said land.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1492 square metres (0a1r19p), situated in Block III, Waiua Survey District, being part Section 7; as shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 5850, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne.
SECOND SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 140.1224 hectares, situated in Block IV, Waiua Survey District, being Section 5; all of the land in New Zealand Gazette, 1922, page 2652.

Amending a Declaration Acquiring an Easement of Right of Way and Other Rights for Scientific and Industrial Research Purposes in the City of Auckland
PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 30th day of July 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 6 August 1987, No. 128 at page 3722, declaring an easement of right of way and other rights to be acquired for scientific and industrial research purposes in the City of Auckland by deleting from the fifth line the words “and fifth”.

Declaring a Right of Way Easement and Right to Convey Water Easement to be Acquired for Irrigation Purposes in Block X, Waimea Survey District, Waimea County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into on the 3rd day of February 1983 and subject to the terms and conditions of that agreement, a right of way easement over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in the Crown the rights and powers contained in paragraph 1, of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, is hereby acquired for irrigation purposes on the 27th day of August 1987 and a right to convey water easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in the Crown the rights and powers contained in paragraph 2, of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, is hereby acquired for irrigation purposes on the 27th day of August 1987.
