The Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1984, signed the 13th day
of April 1984*, and the Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1986,
signed the 3rd day of June 1986†, issued pursuant to section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regu-
lations 1976 are revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Napier City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the
northern boundary to Napier City at Westshore southerly, gener-
ally, along the said State highway to Watchman Road and from a
point 50 metres southerly, generally, from Ellison Street southerly,
generally, along the said State highway to the southern boundary
of Napier City at Awatoto.
Bowen Street.
Embankment Road: from a point 50 metres measured westerly,
generally, along the said road from Taradale Road (No. 50 State
Highway, Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to a point 50 metres meas-
ured southerly, generally, from Meeanee Quay (No. 2 State High-
way, Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).
Fergusson Street.
Grey Street.
Normanby Street.
Te Awa Avenue: from Meeanee-Awatoto Road to a point 1600
metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from
Waitangi Road.
Waitangi Road: from Meeanee-Awatoto Road southerly and east-
erly, generally, along the said road to No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-
Wellington via Gisborne).
Watchman Road: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington
via Gisborne) to the western boundary of Napier City at Westshore.
Wharerangi Road: from Church Road to a point 50 metres meas-
ured westerly, generally, along the said road from Westminster
Avenue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Napier City:

McLeod Road: from Meeanee-Awatoto Road to the southern
boundary of Napier City at Awatoto.
Meeanee-Awatoto Road: from McLeod Road westerly, generally,
to No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).

Te Awa Avenue: from Meeanee-Awatoto Road to a point 1600
metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from
Waitangi Road.
Waitangi Road: from Meeanee-Awatoto Road southerly and east-
erly, generally, along the said road to the No. 2 State Highway
(Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).
Wharerangi Road: from Church Road to a point 50 metres meas-
ured westerly, generally, along the said road from Westminster
Avenue.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Napier City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): From
Watchman Road to a point 100 metres measured northerly,
generally, along the said State highway from the junction with the
access road to Hawke’s Bay Airport.

The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 1, 1987
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister
of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport,
I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following
notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney County) Notice
No. 1, 1987.
The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely
populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70
kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2)
of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1984, dated the 23rd
day of March 1984*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1986 is
revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rodney County at Te Hana:
Coronation Road.
Whakapirau Road: from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff)
to a point 300 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the
said road from the said State highway.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rodney County at Te Hana:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff): from a point 90 metres
measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from
Silverhill Road to the northern abutment of Te Hana Rail
Overbridge.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister
of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport,
I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following
notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney County) Notice
No. 2, 1987.
The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely
populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70
kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2)
of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The roads specified in the Third Schedule are declared to be closely
populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle at
any time during the period commencing with the 1st day of Decem-
ber in each year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter, in
each following year, shall be subject to the maximum speed limit
of 50 kilometres an hour fixed by the said section.
The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1982, dated the 17th
day of March 1982*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is
revoked.
