NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 3rd day of May 1986 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $10,000,000 to be known as the Moa Point Sewage Treatment Plant Loan 1985 for the purpose of designing and constructing a millscreening plant as the first stage of a treatment and disposal works at Moa Point, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal: 8,479
The number of votes recorded against the proposal: 14,499
The number of informal votes: 84

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
