Pursuant to section 9 of the Regulations Act 1936, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the notice by the Minister of Works and Development dated 6 November 1979 exempting the Chatham Islands County Council from its obligation to provide and maintain, in accordance with Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, an operative district scheme in respect of its district, which notice was published in New Zealand Gazette of 15 November 1979, No. 104 at page 3306.

Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority with Jurisdiction in Any District

Pursuant to section 93A of the Transport Act 1962, as inserted by section 2 of the Transport Amendment Act (No. 4) 1985, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints

Ian Philip Wollerman

of Carterton to be Licensing Authority with jurisdiction in any or all transport districts. The appointment shall be for a period of 5 years from the day this notice is published in the New Zealand Gazette.
