HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act
1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, on the recommendation
of the Minister of Agriculture, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Lee Pest Destruction District
    Redefinition of Boundaries Order 1986.

  2. This order shall come into force on the day after the date of
    its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The boundaries of the Lee Pest Destruction District which was
    constituted by Order in Council on the 31st day of August 1960
    are hereby altered and redefined and as and from the day on which
    this order shall come into force, the boundaries of the said district
    shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

LEE PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT

ALL that area of the Otago Land District, Counties of Silverpeaks
and Tuapeka containing 73 200 hectares, more or less, commencing
in the middle of the Taieri River at a point in line with the middle
of Deep Stream and proceeding generally south-easterly and south-
westerly down the middle of the Taieri River to a point in line with
the middle of Traquair Burn; thence generally north-westerly up
the middle of that burn to a point in line with the south-eastern
boundary of Section 10, Block IX, Maungatua Survey District; thence
generally south-westerly along that south-eastern boundary to the
north-eastern side of State Highway No. 87; thence generally south-
easterly along the north-eastern side of that highway to a point in
line with the southern side of McKendry Road; thence generally
westerly to and along the southern side of that road to a point due
north of Trig. O in Block XI, Maungatua Survey District; thence
generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that
section and generally southerly along the western boundaries of
Section 32, Block XI aforesaid and Section 12, Block XIV,
Maungatua Survey District to a point due east of Trig. Maungatua;
thence due west to Trig. Maungatua and south-westerly along a right
line between that Trig. and the easternmost corner of Section 18,
Block X, Waipori Survey District to the middle of the Waipori
River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of that river
to the Mahinerangi Dam; thence generally easterly along the southern
shore of Lake Mahinerangi to a point in line with the western
boundary of Block V, Waipori Survey District; thence northerly to
and along the eastern boundary of Block V aforesaid and the eastern
boundary of Block II, Waipori Survey District to the north-western
side of Lee Flat Road; thence generally north-easterly along that
north-western side to the middle of Big Rock Stream; thence
generally up the middle of that stream to its intersection with the
generally southern boundary of Section 3, Block X, Lee Stream
Survey District; thence generally westerly along that southern
boundary and the southern boundary of Run 186C to the eastern
boundary of Section 15, Block IV, Hedgehope Survey District; thence
generally southerly, south-westerly, north-westerly and north-easterly
along the eastern, south-eastern, south-western and north-western
boundaries of Section 15 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of
Section 1, Block V, Hedgehope Survey District; thence generally
north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Section 1
aforesaid and its production to the middle of Deep Stream; thence
generally north-easterly and easterly down the middle of Deep
Stream to the point of commencement.
