Declaring Land Permanently Reserved for Railway Purposes at Fairlight now set Apart for Railway Purposes

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Turakina Maori Girls College Marton (Attendance Dues) Notice 1986

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving an increase to attendance dues at Turakina Maori Girls College, Marton.

NOTICE

  1. This notice shall be cited as the Turakina Maori Girls College, Marton (Attendance Dues) Notice 1986 and shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  2. The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

  3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $600 per annum.

  4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated school.

Sale of Southland Harbour Board Land

I, Richard William Prebble, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to sections 143A(1)(a) and 143C (1)(b)(i) of the Act the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Southland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the Act and I specify that my approval of this notice is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that land in the Land Registration District of Southland being Section 5, Block II of the Town of Campbelltown, containing 1012 square metres, more or less and described in certificate of title 143/113.

Average Price for Apples and Pears for the 1985/86 Season Declared

NOTICE is hereby given that the Apple and Pear Prices Authority has determined, pursuant to section 27 of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1971 that:

  1. The average price for all apples purchased by the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board from growers during the 1985/86 season be 26.6008 cents per kilogram; and

  2. The average price for all pears purchased by the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board from growers during the 1985/86 season by 35.7891 cents per kilogram.

The Road Classification (Chatham Islands County) Notice No. 1. 1986

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (8) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Chatham Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1986.

  2. The Chatham Islands County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule is approved.

  3. The “Classification of Roads in Chatham Islands County” Notice, dated the 29th day of March 1957*, issued pursuant to regulation 3 (11) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955, which relates to the roads described in the Schedule, is revoked.
