The Fisheries (Chatham Islands Rock Lobster Closed Season) Notice 1986 (Ag. 9/2/2/5. 9/2/2/1/9; No. 3679)
PURSUANT to section 85 of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Director of the Fisheries Management Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, acting pursuant to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries (dated in Wellington on the 22nd day of August 1985) hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Chatham Islands, Rock Lobster Closed Season) Notice 1986, and shall come into force on the 1st day of March 1986.

Interpretation—In this notice, the term
“Rock Lobster” means those fish of which the scientific names are Jasus edwardsii (commonly known as the spiny or red rock lobster) and Jasus verreauxi (commonly known as the packhorse or green rock lobster).
“Chatham Islands rock lobster fishery” means the rock lobster fishery bounded by all that area of New Zealand fisheries waters enclosed by a line commencing at the point 40° 25' S and 178° W on the outer limits of the exclusive economic zone; then proceeding along the outer limits of the zone to the point 51° 50' S and 174° 35' E; then proceeding in a straight line to the point 50° 55' S and 173° 50' E; then proceeding along the outer limits of the zone to the point 48° 15' S and 174° E; then proceeding in a straight line to the point of commencement.
- Closed season for rock lobster determined—There is hereby determined to be a closed season for rock lobster in the Chatham Islands rock lobster fishery commencing on the 1st day of March 1986 and expiring with the 30th day of April 1986.

PURSUANT to the provisions of regulation 18(3) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the following specifications are declared suitable for the purpose of those regulations:

BS 162:1961 Electric power switchgear and associated apparatus (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 5). Declared suitable subject to compliance with regulation 20(1) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976. If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
BS 562:1958 Reversible connectors (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 3). Declared suitable subject to compliance with regulation 20(1)(b) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976. If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
BS 764:1954 Automatic change-over contractors for emergency lighting systems (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 5). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
BS 841:1966 Lamp-caps and lampholders for architectural lamps. Declared suitable subject to compliance with regulation 20(1)(a) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976. If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
BS 3456:---- Specification for safety of household and similar electrical appliances—
Part 1:1969 General Requirements (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 5). Declared suitable subject to the following conditions:
(i) Clause 2.17 being deleted and replaced with “Extra-low voltage” means any voltage normally not exceeding 32 volts alternating current or 50 volts direct current.
(ii) Any radio-interference suppression device complying with regulation 126(4) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
Part 2: Section 2.5:1970 Particular requirements—Shavers, hair clippers and similar appliances (including Amendments No. 1 and No. 2). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Section 2.12:1970 Spin extractors (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 3). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Section 2.13:1970 Tumbler dryers. If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Section 2.20:1971 Electric floor polishers (including Amendment No. 1). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Section 2.28:1973 Food preparation machines including mixers, coffee grinders and coffee mills (including Amendment No. 1). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Section 2.32:1974 Mains-operated electric lawnmowers (including Amendments No. 1 and No. 2). If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
Part 3:--- Section 3.1:1979 Complete particular specifications—Irons, ironers, and pressing machines (including Amendment No. 1). Declared suitable subject to the following conditions:
(i) Deleting “42 V” in subclause 2.21 and substituting “32 V a.c. or 50 V d.c.”.
(ii) Deleting subclause 2.22 and substituting the following: “2.22 Safety extra-low voltage supply denotes a supply obtained from a source which is independent of the supply mains, or from the supply mains through a safety isolating transformer or converter with separate windings, this supply being such that the no-load voltage does not exceed 32 V a.c. or 50 V d.c. between conductors.”
(iii) Clause 8.4 complying with regulation 107 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
(iv) Deleting “34” in clause 8.9 and substituting “32 V a.c. or 50 V d.c.”
(v) Any associated accessory being of a type not prohibited from use in New Zealand.
If this specification is superseded the declaration of this specification is rescinded.
