New Zealand Gazette of 3 October 1968, No. 61, at page 1690, declaring a service lane and access ways to be vested in the Corporation of the City of Lower Hutt and to be under the control and management of the Lower Hutt City Council by omitting the following from the Second Schedule:

“0 0 6.23 Lot 31, D.P. 15692. Part certificate of title, Volume 499, folio 26.”

and substituting the following:

“0 0 6.3 Lot 4, D.P. 20550. Part certificate of title, Volume 586, folio 193”.

The Fiordland National Park Lakeshore and Lakebed Control Order 1986

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At Wellington this 17th day of November 1986

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Fiordland National Park Lakeshore and Lakebed Control Order 1986.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1986.

  1. Interpretation—In this order—

“The Act” means the Harbours Act 1950:

“The Director-General” means the Director-General of Lands.

  1. Grant of Control—There is hereby granted to the Director-General for a period of 21 years from the 1st day of December 1986 and ending with the 30th day of November 2007 control of the lakeshore and lakebed described in the Schedule to this order.

  2. Conditions of Grant—The grant of control conferred by clause 3 of this order is subject to the following conditions—

(a) Suitably worded signs shall be erected at main public access ways to the lakeshore and lakebed described in the Schedule to this order indicating that control of the lakeshore and lakebed has been granted to the Director-General pursuant to section 165 of the Act.

(b) All money received by the Director-General in the performance or exercise of the functions, duties, or powers conferred on him by this order in respect of lakeshore and lakebed to which this order applies, shall, after the deduction of any expenditure incurred by the Director-General in the performance or exercise of those functions, duties, or powers, be applied to the construction, repair or improvement of facilities in respect of that lakeshore and lakebed and not otherwise.

SCHEDULE

ALL that part of the lakeshore and lakebed of Lakes Te Anau, Manapouri, Monowai and Hauroko, including the lakeshore of any island within the said lakes as shown on plan M.D. 11598 deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 3 (3) of the Trustee Banks Act 1983, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Trustee Banks (Change of Name) Order (No. 2) 1986.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Approval of changes in name—Each trustee bank named in the first column of the Schedule to this order is hereby given approval to change its name to the name that is set out in the second column of that Schedule opposite its existing name.

PURSUANT to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Whanganui National Park Order 1986.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 6th day of December 1986.

  1. Land declared to be national park—The land described in the Schedule to this order is hereby declared to be a national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980.

  2. National park named—The national park declared in clause 2 of this order is hereby assigned the name of “Whanganui National Park”.
