Transport Licensing Authority Sitting
PURSUANT to sections 121, 133 and 135 of the Transport Act 1962, the No. 8 Transport Licensing Authority (F. H. K. Moore), gives notice of the receipt of the following application and will hold a public sitting in the Mayorβs Office, Greymouth Borough Council, Greymouth on Thursday, 27 November 1986, commencing at 4 p.m. to hear evidence for or against granting it.
A8/86/14 New Zealand Railways Corporation, Passenger Business Group, Wellington. Amend timetables on Passenger Service Licence No. 6016 and 6017 as follows:
Route: Blaketon. Cancel the services departing Greymouth township at 8 a.m. and 5.10 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and 6.30 p.m. and 8.35 p.m. (Friday only).
Route: Greymouth-Dobson. Cancel the 4 p.m. (Monday to Friday) Greymouth-Dobson service and the return service departing Dobson at 4.30 p.m.
Route: Greymouth-Blackball. Cancel the 6.40 p.m. (Friday only) Blackball-Greymouth service and the 8.50 p.m. (Friday only) Greymouth-Blackball service.
The effective date sought for the proposed amendments is the 21st day of December 1986.

Transport Licensing Authority Sitting
PURSUANT to sections 119, 121, 135 and 136 of the Transport Act 1962, the Dunedin and No. 10 District Transport Licensing Authority (F. H. K. Moore), gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will hold a public sitting in the Conference Room, Ministry of Transport, 245 Cumberland Street, Dunedin on Monday, 1 December 1986, commencing at 9.30 a.m. to hear evidence for or against granting them.
A10/86/83 Dunedin City Council Transport Department, Dunedin. That part of the application to amend existing Monday to Friday timetables (as per footnote), which was advertised on 16 October 1986 was adjourned by the authority on 3 November 1986 to consider the date from which the amendment is to take effect. The Dunedin City Council gave notice that they wish the effective date of the amendments to be the 12th day of January 1987.

Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares pampas grass (Cortaderia jubata) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of the following District Noxious Plants Authorities: Cook, Dannevirke, Egmont, Ekatahuna, Featherston, Hawera, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Marlborough, North Taranaki, Patca, Rotorua, Taranaki, Taupo, Tauranga, Waimea, Wanganui, Wellington, Whakatane and Woodville.
