Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electricity Supply Licence 1986, Amendment No. 1
I. Robert James Tizard, Minister of Energy acting pursuant to section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968 hereby amend the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electricity Supply Licence 1985* by deleting Condition No.12 and substituting the following:
"12. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (i) of regulation 13 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1984. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a single conductor earth-return system of 11 000 volts between conductor and earth, and the use thereof shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington."

Whakatane District Council Electric Lines Licence 1984, Amendment No. 1
I. Robert James Tizard, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 21 of the Electricity Act 1968 hereby amend the Whakatane District Council Electric Lines Licence 1984* by adding to the Schedule thereto the following:
- A line for the transmission of electrical energy commencing at the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board’s 33 kV transmission line in Rewatu Road, 30 metres to the west of the Te Rahu Canal; thence proceeding generally in a northerly direction parallel to, and approximately 10 metres east of the eastern boundary of part Section 30C4C1A1, S.O. 44397 to a point approximately 10 metres due east of the north-eastern corner of part Section 30C4C1A1, part Section 30C4C1A3 of S.O. 44397, part Section 30C4C1A4, part Section 30C4C2, part Section 30C4C2, part Section 30C4B1B and part Section 30C4A, to a point approximately 30 metres due south of the north-western corner of part Section 30C4A, S.O. 44397; thence by a right line generally in an easterly and northerly direction across the Whakatane River to a point approximately 35 metres from the northern boundary and 10 metres to the east of the western boundary of part Section 30C2D1, M.L. 9682; thence by a right line to a point 10 metres south of the northern boundary and 30 metres west of the eastern boundary of part Section 30C2D1, M.L. 9682; thence by a right line bearing 131° 30′ for 105 metres, 87° 00′ for 90 metres, 41° 30′ for 160 metres, and 47° 30′ for 130 metres, to a point approximately 10 metres north of the northern boundary of Awatapu Drive and approximately 20 metres east of the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 25325; thence by a right line across Lot 2, D.P. S. 25325 generally parallel to and approximately 20 metres to the east of the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 25325; thence by a right line generally east and north to a point approximately 50 metres in a generally north-easterly direction from the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 25325; thence to a point on the western side of Hinemoa Street due west of the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 22814, where it intersects the boundary of the licensed supply area.

Notice Constituting Defence Area as Fairlie Defence Rural Fire District

The following notice may be cited as the Fairlie Defence Rural Fire District Notice.

Pursuant to section 4 (2) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, notice is hereby given by the Minister of Forests as follows:
(1) The area sufficiently described in the Schedule to this notice, being a Defence Area within the meaning of the Defence Act 1971, and not included in a fire district within the meaning of the Fire Service Act 1975, is at the request of the Minister of Defence hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district, which shall be known as the Fairlie Defence Rural Fire District.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 19th day of August 1986.
- It is hereby notified that under the said section 4 (2) the Minister of Defence is ex officio the Fire Authority for the Fairlie Defence Rural Fire District constituted by the foregoing notice.
SCHEDULE
THE area comprising the Fairlie Magazine Area (including all buildings and their environs), being for convenience of further identification shown edged in blue on plan J38/10, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I. Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tokoroa Borough and Matamata County) Notice No. 1, 1986.
The roads specified in the First Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The Traffic (Tokoroa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 12th day of November 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is revoked.
