that road and Cashmere Road to the proposed boundary of the
Sydenham Electoral District; thence easterly along the proposed
south boundaries of the Sydenham, Christchurch Central, and
Avon Electoral districts to the mean high water mark, thence south
and west along that water mark to the point of commencement and
including Chatham Islands.

Comms at the middle of the outlet to Lake Ellesmere and
proceeds north easterly and north westerly along the Ellesmere
County boundary to the southeast boundary of Springston Riding;
thence southwesterly and northwesterly around that riding, to and
along the Ellesmere County boundary to the existing Selwyn Elec-
toral District, NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence northwesterly and
northeasterly along that boundary to the proposed boundary of the
North Canterbury Electoral District, thence generally southerly and

railway line to the intersection of Selwyn Street and Bluff Road,
thence across the Bluff Branch Railway to and along the mean high
