Commencing at the intersection of the boundary of the Waikohu County and the boundary of the Galatea Riding of the Whakatane District and proceeding generally westerly and northerly along the proposed boundary of the Tarawera Electoral District to the intersection with the mean high water mark being the boundary of the existing East Cape Electoral District as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence following that boundary in a generally easterly, southerly and westerly direction to its point of commencement including White Island.
GISBORNE

All of the existing Gisborne Electoral District as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424.
WAIKAREMOANA

Commencing at the intersection of the mean high water mark and the south boundary of the Cook County also being the boundary of the existing Waikaremoana Electoral District, as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence proceeding generally westerly, southerly and easterly along the north eastern boundary of that electoral district, the southern boundary of the proposed Tarawera Electoral District to a point on the shore of Lake Taupo near Motuopa Peninsula and coinciding with the south western boundary of the existing Waikaremoana Electoral District, thence generally northerly along that boundary, to and southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the existing Hawkes Bay Electoral District, as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, to its intersection with the eastern boundary of the Poukawa Riding of the Hawkes Bay County, thence generally northerly along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of the Maraekakaho and Okawa Ridings of the Hawkes Bay County, thence generally northerly along that boundary to the mean high water mark, thence generally north easterly along that water mark to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the intersection of the mean high water mark and the boundary of the existing King Country Electoral District, as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, to the west of Waitara Borough and proceeding generally northerly, easterly and southerly along that electoral boundary to its intersection with State Highway No 1 on the Desert Road, thence southerly along State Highway No 1 to and around the western outskirts of Waiouru to and southerly along the North Island Main Trunk Railway to the existing boundary of the King Country Electoral District, thence southerly and westerly along that boundary to its intersection with Hu Road (in Ettam County), thence generally south westerly along that road, Rawhitiroa Road, Moata Road, Mangawhero Road and Mangawhero Stream to the existing eastern boundary of the Taranaki Electoral District as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence northerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the intersection of the mean high water mark and the boundary of the existing New Plymouth Electoral District as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, at the mouth of the Te Henui Stream and proceeding generally southerly and westerly along that electoral boundary to its intersection with the New Plymouth City Boundary, as defined by NZ Gazette 1986 p 2699 at Davies Road, thence generally westerly and northerly along that city boundary, to and along the existing boundary of the New Plymouth Electoral District to the point of commencement.
WAITOTARA

Commencing at the mouth of the Kaupokonui Stream and proceeding generally northeasterly along the south eastern boundary of the proposed Taranaki Electoral District to and generally easterly along the southern boundary of the proposed King Country Electoral District to its point of intersection with Rongoitii Road at Mataroa, thence generally southerly along that road, Tiriraukawa Road, Watershed Road, Kiekie Road, the North Island Main Trunk Railway, the eastern outskirts of Hunterville and the North Island Main Trunk Railway, to and westerly along Silverhope Road, State Highway 1 and Mt Curl Road to its intersection with the southern boundary of the existing Waitotara Electoral District, as defined by NZ Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence generally south westerly along that boundary to the mean high water mark, thence generally north westerly along that water to the point of commencement but excluding the proposed Wanganui Electoral District.

Commencing at the intersection of the mean high water mark and Waimahora Stream being a point on the southern boundary of the proposed Waitotara Electoral District and proceeding generally north easterly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of the proposed King Country Electoral District to its intersection with the southern boundary of the proposed Tongariro Electoral District, thence easterly along that boundary to its intersection with the eastern boundary of the existing Rangitikei Electoral District, as defined by Gazette 1983 p 1424, thence generally southerly along that boundary to its intersection with State Highway 3 near Ashhurst, thence generally westerly and northerly around the southern and western outskirts of Ashhurst to and generally northerly along Colyton Road, Watershed Road, Midland Road and its extension to the south western boundary of Pohangina County, thence north westerly along that boundary to and south westerly along the Oroua River to the boundary of the existing Rangitikei Electoral District where it meets the Fielding Borough boundary, thence generally southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of that district to the mean high water mark at Himatangi Beach, thence northerly along that water mark to the point of commencement.
