Notice of Resolution to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Trust Premises—Invercargill Licensing Trust
PURSUANT to section 35B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1950, I David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on 28 April 1986, resolved to vary the usual hours for the opening and closing for the sale of liquor at its premises, known as Centrepoin Budget Liquor Store; Mary Street, corner of Mary and Yarrow Streets; Collingwood Budget Liquor Store; North Road Friars Liquor Barrel.
To the intent that on days other than those on which premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
CENTREPOINT BUDGET LIQUOR STORE
Tay to Esk Streets
Trade hours will be as currently: Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
Where the hours of trade on the evening before a statutory holiday occur the hours shall be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. irrespective of the day which such occasions occur. This shall also apply on the evening prior to Anzac Day.
This wholesale does not operate on statutory holidays.
MARY STREET
Corner Mary and Yarrow Streets
Trade hours will be as currently: Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2 p.m.–7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Except that:
- On Anzac Day the hours will be 1 p.m.–7 p.m.
- On evenings prior to days on which licensed premises are required to be closed (i.e. Christmas Day and Good Friday) and on the evening prior to all other statutory holidays when premises are entitled to operate the hours shall be 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
COLLINGWOOD BUDGET LIQUOR STORE
North Road
Trade hours will be as currently: Monday–Thursday, wholesale and retail, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, wholesale, 10 a.m.–7 p.m. retail 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
Except that:
- On Anzac Day the trading hours will be 1 p.m.–7 p.m., should that day fall Monday to Thursday; if this day falls on Friday
or Saturday the hours of trade shall be wholesale 1 p.m.–7 p.m. retail 1 p.m.–9 p.m.
2. On days prior to public holidays the hours shall be wholesale 10 a.m.–7 p.m. retail 10 a.m.–9 p.m. irrespective of the trade day.
3. On all statutory holidays on which licensed premises are entitled to trade the hours shall be wholesale 10 a.m.–7 p.m. retail 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
NORTH ROAD FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL
North Road
Trade hours will be as currently: Monday–Thursday, 9.30 a.m.–1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.–6 p.m. Friday, 9.30 a.m.–1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.–6 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.–12 noon.
On late shopping nights in the locality whenever they may fall the hours shall be 9.30 a.m.–1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.–8.30 p.m. The premises will not trade on statutory holidays.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
I, Brian John Lynch, Acting Secretary for Transport, pursuant to section 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the Whakatane District Council Harbour Bylaws 1984, made by special order and passed at an ordinary meeting of the council held on 24 October; and the Whakatane District Council Harbour Bylaws Amendment 1986, made by special order and passed at an ordinary meeting of the council held on 27 August 1986.

I, Timothy John Sanger, Acting Secretary for Transport, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950 and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968 hereby approve the Waitemata City Council Bylaw No. 9, 1983, Beaches and Waters, Amendment No. 1, 1986, made by special order on 27 March 1986 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the council held on 29 May 1986.

Commerce Act 1986: Merger or Takeover Proposal
NOTICE is hereby given of the following determination made by the Commerce Commission pursuant to section 66 (6) of the Commerce Act 1986.

On 7 October 1986 the Commerce Commission determined to give a clearance to a proposal that Fletcher Building Products Ltd. acquire up to 100 percent of the trading stock, plant and trade names of the Dufaylite door core business of UEB Industries Ltd.
