The High Court Sittings 1987

WE, three Judges of The High Court of New Zealand in pursuit
of the powers vested in us by the Judicature Act 1908, hereby appoint
that during the year 1987 sittings of The High Court will be held
at The High Court Houses as follows:

Auckland Criminal Trials and Civil Actions before
Hamilton Judge and Jury and all Other Classes of
Wellington Business: The Court will sit each week
Christchurch commencing from 2 February 1987.

Notice Declaring Variegated Thistle (Silybum Marianum) a Class
B Noxious Plant (No. 3913; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the
    Noxious Plants Council hereby declares thistle (Silybum
    marianum) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand
    lying within the boundaries of Ohinemuri District Noxious Plants
    Authority.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of
    notification in the Gazette.

Notice Specifying Fish Species Which may be Farmed (Ag.
9/2/2/4; Notice No. 3907)

  1. Pursuant to regulation 2 of the Freshwater Fish Farming
    Regulations 1983, I hereby declare the following species to be fish
    for the purposes of those regulations:

(a) Abalone or Paua (Haliotis sp.);
(b) Brine shrimp (Artemia salina);
(c) Dredge Oysters (Tiostrea lutaria);
(d) Eels (Anguilla Dieffenbachi and Anguilla australis);
(e) Freshwater crayfish or koura (Paranephrops planifrons and
Paranephrops zealandicus);
(f) Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella);
(g) Prawns, being—
(i) Marine (Penaeus monodon, Penaeus japonicus and
Penaeus orientalis);
(h) Salmon, being—
(i) Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar);
(ii) Quinnat Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha);
(iii) Sockeye Salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka);
(i) Scallops (Pecten novaezelandiae);
