Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Kaitangata Survey District,
Bruce County Council

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Deputy Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Bruce County Council pursuant to the said section 323 and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Order for Confiscation of a Motor Vehicle

On the 26th day of September 1986 in the District Court at Hamilton, Jack Potukua Ngarua Barton, 17 Lily Street, Raglan was fined $1,100 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from the 26th day of September 1986, following conviction on charges of (1) excess breath alcohol and (2) failing to stop after an accident.

And in addition to the above-named penalty Judge M. J. Green has ordered that a 1967 Holden motorcar, registration number DZ9745, owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Jack Potukua Ngarua Barton, be confiscated pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

Notice of Resolution to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Trust Premises, Invercargill Licensing Trust

Pursuant to section 35B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1950, I David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on 12 September 1986, resolved to vary the usual hours for the opening and closing for the sale of liquor of the premises known as the:

East End Friars Liquor Barrel, corner Tay and Bam borough Streets.
Rugby Park Friars Liquor Barrel, corner Elles Road and Tweed Street.
Windsor Friars Liquor Barrel, Windsor Street.

To the intent that on days other than those on which premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

EAST END FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL

Trade hours will be: Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Except that:

(1) On Anzac Day the hours shall be 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

(2) On evenings prior to those on which business premises are required to be closed (i.e., Christmas Day and Good Friday) and on the evening prior to all other statutory holidays when premises are entitled to operate the hours shall be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Unless such days fall on Fridays, Saturdays, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve when the hours of trade shall be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

(3) On all statutory holidays on which licensed premises are entitled to trade the hours of trade shall be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Unless those days fall on a Friday or Saturday when the hours shall be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

RUGBY PARK FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL

Trade hours will be: Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Except that:

(1) On Anzac Day the hours shall be 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

(2) On evenings prior to those on which business premises are required to be closed (i.e., Christmas Day and Good Friday) and on the evening prior to all other statutory holidays when premises are entitled to operate the hours shall be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Unless such days fall on Fridays, Saturdays, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve when the hours of trade shall be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

WINDSOR FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL

Trade hours will be: Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Except that on any occasion when the locality operates late shopping the hours shall be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Except:

(1) On Anzac Day the hours of trade shall be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

(2) On the evening prior to public holidays the hours of trade shall be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

(3) On all statutory holidays when premises are entitled to trade the hours shall be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
