Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Generation of Electricity in Block IV, Wakefield Survey District, Vincent County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the generation of electricity, which land is to be used for inundation and lakeshore reserve works associated with Clyde High Dam.

The taking of the land described in the Schedule is considered essential as it is required in connection with essential hydro-electric works.

Copies of the plans of the land affected may be seen at the office of the Projects Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, McNulty Road, Cromwell. Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days of the date of publication of this notice send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Department of Justice, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Education has cancelled the integration agreement for St John’s School, Darfield pursuant to section 11 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act and pursuant to section 12 of the said Act disestablishes and closes the said school with effect from 31 December 1986.

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Dunedin Teachers College Council Notice 1984, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Dunedin Teachers College Council Notice 1984* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) This notice shall come into force on its date of publication in the Gazette.

2. Clause 2 of the principal notice is hereby amended by inserting:

(m) One member to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the nomination of the Otago Polytechnic Council.
