The price levels determined for lamb and mutton are on an “ex freezer” basis while the prices determined for the beef categories are on a “delivered to works” basis.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975 notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietors of the following two schools:

St Mary’s College, Wellington.
St Joseph’s School, Wairarapa.

The said supplementary integration agreements came into effect on 27 August 1986. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Meat Board Levy on Stock Slaughtered (No. 3683; Ag. 4/52/25/2)

Pursuant to section 13 (3) of the Meat Export Control Act 1921–22, notice is given that the New Zealand Meat Producers Board hereby fixes the rates of levy (which levy rates are exclusive of goods and services tax imposed by the Goods and Services Tax Act 1985) to be paid on each head of stock slaughtered on licensed premises (except on stock slaughtered on licensed premises in the Chatham Islands) as follows:

Category of Stock Rate of Levy
Lambs 20 cents per head
Other sheep and goats 29 cents per head
Bobby calves (under 27 kg) 10 cents per head
Vealers (27–160 kg) 100 cents per head
Adult cattle 200 cents per head

Except that a nil rate of levy will apply to any stock the carcasses of which are wholly condemned for any reason following slaughter.

These rates of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of the 1st day of October 1986 and apply during the 1986–87 meat season and subsequently until such time as new levy rates are fixed and come into force.

Producers' Representative on Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee: Southern Ward (No. 3884; Ag. 1/53/2/7)

Pursuant to clause 20 of the Second Schedule of the Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979, notice is hereby given that only 2 persons having been duly nominated in the Southern Ward for election to the office of producers’ representative on the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee, I do declare Brian James Breen (berryfruit grower, Roxburgh) and Kenneth Edward McArtur (berryfruit grower, Otauru) being the persons so nominated to be duly elected as producers’ representatives in respect of the Southern Ward.

Reduction of Number of Elected Members to the Hauraki Pest Destruction Board (No. 3885)

It is hereby declared that pursuant to section 32 (3) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Hauraki Pest Destruction Board has adopted a resolution to reduce the number of elective members from 8 to 6. Such reduction is to take effect from the October 1986 elections except to the extent that it is necessary for the holding of that election.

Export Performance Taxation Incentive Schedule of Export Goods Amendment No. 15

Pursuant to section 156C (6) of the Income Tax Act 1976, notice is hereby given by the Secretary of Trade and Industry that the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Overseas Trade and Marketing have jointly approved the amendment to the Schedule of Export Goods (approval of which was notified in the Gazette of 1 May 1980) set out in the Schedule hereto:

SCHEDULE

CHAPTER 6 of the Schedule of Export Goods is amended by:

Deleting the following classifications:

06.02 Other live plants, including trees, shrubs, bushes, roots, cuttings and slips:

06.02.01 Z Indigenous trees, plants, etc.
06.02.11 W Kiwifruit stock
06.02.21 R Other fruit stock
06.02.29 Z Other

and substituting the following classifications:

06.02 Other live plants, including trees, shrubs, bushes, roots, cuttings and slips:

06.02.01 Z Indigenous trees, plants, etc.
06.02.11 W Kiwifruit stock
06.02.21 R Other fruit stock
06.02.29 Z Other

The effect of this amendment is to make live plants eligible for a higher rate of incentive under the Export Performance Taxation Incentive.

This amendment shall apply from the income year that commenced on 1 April 1983.

National Roads Board Revokes Declaration of Old State Highway No. 1 and Declares New State Highway No. 1

Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule hereof is revoked, and the new route described in the Second Schedule below is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purpose of the National Roads Act 1953.

FIRST SCHEDULE

That the section of No. 1 State Highway from junction of Kamo Road and Western Hills Drive and proceeding southerly along Kamo Road, Bank Street, Water Street, Maunu Road to intersection with Otaika Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

The Western Hills Drive from its intersection with Kamo Road to its intersection with Otaika Road.
