Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in the Waitaki County

Pursuant to section 191 of the Public Works Act 1981, and being of the opinion that it is practicable for the land described in the Schedule hereto to be applied to a certain secondary use, the Minister of Works and Development hereby authorises the land described in the said Schedule, being land held for the development of water power (Benmore Power Scheme) to be applied to the secondary use of recreation purposes (golf club) and the control and management of the secondary use shall vest in The Waitaki County Council on the 14th day of August 1986.

All that piece of land containing 10 hectares, approximately, being part Run 160B and part Run 160D, Gala Survey District; as shown on the plan lodged in central plan records, Ministry of Works and Development and recorded No. 7/570/3/3925/1.

Withdrawal of Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Generation of Electricity in the Borough of Cromwell

Pursuant to section 23 (8) of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby withdraws the notice of intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the generation of electricity in the Borough of Cromwell dated the 17th day of April 1986 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23 April 1986, No. 58, at page 1672.

Notice of Receipt of Application for an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Air Pacific Ltd., of Fiji, has applied for an International Air Service Licence to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail over the following routes:

(a) Suva/Nadi–Auckland.
(b) Suva/Nadi–Tonga–Auckland.

Further details of the proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.
