Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Mangonui County Council on the 26th day of March 1986:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Mangonui County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Notice of Decision of Minister of Lands Re Assigning of Place Name

WHEREAS pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice was given on the 22nd day of August 1985 of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the name ‘Ngaawapurua Rapids’ to the rapids currently shown on the official map referred to in the Schedule hereto as ‘Fulliames Rapids’. And whereas objections were received to the proposed name and were dealt with pursuant to section 13 of the said Act.
