Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Services Licence

NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend Qantas Airways Limited’s International Air Services Licence to enable the airline to operate a weekly service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Perth, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.

This amendment will take effect on 6 October 1986.

Forfeiture of Mining Privilege

The Road Classification (Inglewood County) Notice No. 1, 1986

Pursuant to regulation 3 (8) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport.

I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Inglewood County) Notice No. 1, 1986.

  2. The Inglewood County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule is approved.

  3. The Road Classification (Inglewood County) Notice No. 1, 1983, dated the 19th day of September 1983, issued pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, which relates to the roads described in the Schedule, is revoked.

SCHEDULE

INGLEWOOD COUNTY

Roads Classified in Class One

Bristol Road: from Everett Road to Junction Road.

Everett Road: from the quarry entrance to Bristol Road.

Junction Road: from the Inglewood Borough boundary to a point 140 metres measured easterly, generally along the said road from the eastern abutment of Bridge No. 3 over the Manganui River.

Roads Classified in Class Two

All roads or parts of roads under the control of the Inglewood County Council not otherwise named in this Schedule.

Notice of Approval of Sirens in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976

NOTICE

PURSUANT to regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, sirens of the makes and models specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 69 (3) of the said regulations.

Declaration of Vehicle with Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle

PURSUANT to section 2 (1) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

The three-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls and a 302 cubic inch Chevrolet engine bearing the engine No. 10327, which was made between 1970 and 1986 by John H. Orchard of Sandringham.

Revocation of Acceptable Cultivars Notice (No. 3846)

NOTICE is hereby given by direction of the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries that the Importation of Seeds Notice (No. 2374; Ag. 12/2/21) 1980 is hereby amended by revoking Appendix II being Schedules of Acceptable Cultivars.

All other references in that notice to “acceptable cultivars” are consequently revoked and shall be deemed to be deleted from that notice.

This notice is to take effect the day after its notification in the Gazette.
