Notice Declaring Lagarosiphon (Lagarosiphon major) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 3836; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares lagarosiphon (Lagarosiphon major) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Hurunui District Noxious Plants Authority.

This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 20 June 1986 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Merrilands Inn.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday and Christmas Eve (not being New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland District Licensing Committee on 11 June 1986 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Gore RSA Club Incorporated.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve)—the premises shall close not later than 11 p.m. and not later than 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 169 of the Commerce Commission dated 10 July 1986.
By this decision the Commission consented to the proposal whereby Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire up to 30 percent of the issued capital of Skellerup Industries Ltd.
