Amending a Proclamation Taking a Right of Way Easement Over Land for Fish Breeding Purposes in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Rotorua District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 8th day of February 1972, published in Gazette No. 15, the 17th day of February 1972 at page 303 taking a right of way easement over land for fish breeding purposes, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre and 13.5 perches, situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, being part Okahukura 1H North part 682 Block: as shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 45392, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of June 1986.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

Appointments to Commission

The following are appointed to commissions in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster, with seniority and effect from 12 May 1986 and are engaged until retiring age for rank:

  • C40988 Warrant Officer Class I Desmond Russell Hammond, The Corps of Royal N.Z. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
  • B542272 Warrant Officer Class II Ian George Irving, N.Z. Army Pay Corps.
  • W41696 Warrant Officer Class I John Herbert Mountain, Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps.
  • F41014 Warrant Officer Class II Gerald Philip O’Connor, Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment.

Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery

Captain and Quartermaster B. D. Millyn is re-engaged until 14 August 1988.

Captain (temp. Major) and Quartermaster E. G. Willbond, B.E.M., to be Major and Quartermaster with seniority and effect from 19 May 1986.

The following Lieutenants to be temp. Captain with effect from the date shown:

Supernumerary List

The engagement of Captain Y. M. Hall is extended until 27 August 1987.

Lieutenant Colonel (acting Colonel) G. E. Vickers is re-engaged until 1 May 1989.

Lieutenant Colonel B. E. Hall, M.C., to be acting Colonel with effect from 9 June 1986.

Lieutenant J. T. Burrows to be temp. Captain with effect from 18 February 1986.

The commission of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) P. R. W. Van der Ent is confirmed, with seniority from 20 December 1985.

Royal N.Z. Corps of Transport

Major R. B. Haworth is re-engaged until 30 January 1992.

Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) P. R. Hautain is re-engaged until 18 June 1995.

Royal N.Z. Dental Corps

Major Alexander Murdoch Reid, B.D.S., is posted to the Retired List with effect from 10 May 1986.

N.Z. Army Pay Corps

Captain (temp. Major) and Quartermaster J. F. McQueen to be Major and Quartermaster with seniority and effect from 19 May 1986.

Royal N.Z. Nursing Corps

Captain Maureen Maree Frankpitt is transferred to the Army Reserve, General List of Officers, in her present rank with effect from 19 May 1986.


TERRITORIAL FORCE

Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery

16th Field Regiment, RNZA

2nd Lieutenant P. J. Bellamy, L.L.B., the notice published in the Gazette, 15 May 1986, No.72, page 2107, is cancelled and the following substituted: “2nd Lieutenant P. J. Bellamy, L.L.B., to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 11 December 1985.”

Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment

3rd Battalion (Auckland (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own) and Northland), RNZIR

Captain (temp. Major) Bruce McInnes Stainton, E.D., L.L.B., relinquishes the temporary rank of Major and is transferred to the Army Reserve, Regimental List of Officers, 3rd Battalion (Auckland (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own) and Northland), RNZIR, in the rank of Captain with seniority from 15 March 1978 and effect from 1 April 1986.\n
The following Captains are transferred to the Army Reserve, Regimental List of Officers, 3rd Battalion (Auckland (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own) and Northland), RNZIR, in their present rank and seniority with effect from 1 April 1986:

  • David John Robertson, B.Sc.

Richard Evan Moore is appointed to a commission in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 10 March 1986.

Lieutenant A. S. Rongen to be temp. Captain with effect from 11 January 1986.

7th Battalion (Wellington (City of Wellington’s Own) and Hawkes Bay), RNZIR

Captain H. M. Jury to be temp. Major with effect from 22 July 1985 and Major with seniority and effect from 19 January 1986.

Lieutenant S. J. Gibson to be temp. Captain with effect from 15 November 1985.

3rd Transport Squadron, RNZCT

Philippa Jane Jones is appointed to a commission in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 30 August 1985.
