Declaring Railway Land in Upper Hutt Not Now Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Advertising the Taking of a Census: Section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975, notice is hereby given that a Census of Building and Construction, which has been approved by the Minister of Statistics, is being undertaken by the Department of Statistics for the year ended 31 March 1985.
The census covers the activities of all businesses (including central and local government) engaged in building and construction.
This includes the construction, alteration, repair and maintenance, on site, of housing and other buildings; structures such as roads, pipelines, tunnels, bridges and dams; installation of plant and equipment; and other miscellaneous construction work such as recreation areas and land reclamation.
Also included are ancillary building and construction services such as bricklaying and blocklaying, painting and paperhanging and glazing work.
It is the duty of the person in charge of each undertaking involved in any of the above activities who has not received a questionnaire within 21 days after the date of this advertisement to inform the Government Statistician that such an undertaking exists.
