Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Generation of Electricity in Block I, Cromwell Survey District, Vincent County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the generation of electricity, such land to be used for inundation and lakeshore reserve purposes in connection with the Clutha Valley Development Scheme.
The taking of the land described in the Schedule which adjoins the Kawarau River near the Bannockburn Bridge is considered essential as it is required in connection with essential hydro-electric works.
Any person having an estate or interest in the land, may, within 20 working days of the date of publication of this notice, send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Department of Justice, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Generation of Electricity in Block III, Cromwell Survey District Vincent County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the generation of electricity, such land to be used for the realignment of State Highway 8 near Lowburn and the raising of Lake Dunstan in connection with the Clutha Valley Development Scheme.
The taking of the land described in the Schedule which is situated 8 km from Cromwell on the corner of Bilton and Lowburn Valley Road is considered essential as it is required in connection with essential hydro-electric works.
Any person having an estate or interest in the land, may, within 20 working days of the date of publication of this notice, send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Department of Justice, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.
