Kiwi fruit Export Licence

PURSUANT to regulation 21 of the Kiwifruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1977 (Amendment No. 3), notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Kiwifruit Authority has resolved that there is a need for one additional export licence in the 1986 season.

Applications for approval of eligibility to tender for this additional licence are hereby invited.

Applications should be made in writing to the Secretary of the Authority, should include the particulars nominated on a form available for that purpose from the authority, and should be accompanied by a fee of $50.

Applications must be received at the authority’s office not later than 4 p.m. on 27 June 1985.

NOTICE is hereby given of the following decisions of the Commerce Commission:

DECISION NO. 121

By this decision dated 17 April 1985, the Commission resolved to approve the collective pricing application made by Foodstuffs [Otago-Southland] Limited relating to the issue by the company to its retailer/members of a weekly order book or food catalogue indicating suggested resale prices, and to the advertising and specialising programmes operated by the New World and Four Square banner groups. This approval is subject to the condition that the following words appear prominently on the front page of each order book or food catalogue:

“Any resale price or margin or conditions of sale set out or indicated herein are suggestions only. Other prices may be charged, and other conditions of sale may be imposed, in relation to the goods to which the price or margin or conditions of sale relate, without the risk of the issuer of this notice or the supplier of the goods applying sanctions of any kind.”

DECISION NO. 122

By this decision dated 17 April 1985, the Commission resolved to approve the collective pricing application made by Foodstuffs [Wellington] Co-operative Society Limited relating to the issue by the company to its retailer members of a weekly order book or food catalogue indicating resale prices and to the advertising and specialising programmes operated by the New World, Write Price, Cut Price, Four Square, Shoprite, and No Frills banner groups. This approval is subject to the condition that the following words appear prominently on the front page of each order book or food catalogue:
