South Island acclimatisation societies; a levy of $5.00 upon each licence issued is payable to the Council of South Island Acclimatisation Societies.
Class: Junior North Island Game Licence
Fee: Twelve dollars fifty cents ($12.50)
Conditions: Junior North Island Game Licences may be issued to persons under 16 years of age as at 4th of May 1985. The licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game within all acclimatisation districts of the North Island except the acclimatisation districts of Hawera and Mangonui-Whangaroa. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits specified under the Second Schedule for the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.
The provisions of the Arms Act 1983 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.
Levy: A levy of $1.50 upon each licence issued is payable by North Island acclimatisation societies to the Council of North Island Acclimatisation Societies.
Class: Junior South Island Game Licence
Fee: Five dollars ($5.00)
Conditions: Junior South Island Game Licences may be issued to persons up to 16 years of age and shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of the South Island. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits specified under the Second Schedule for the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.
The provisions of the Arms Act 1983 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.
Levy: A levy of $1.00 upon each licence issued is payable by South Island acclimatisation societies to the Council of South Island Acclimatisation Societies.
The notice published in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, No. 43, 21 March 1984, page 878โGame and Junior Game Season Licences and Licence Fees is hereby revoked.

Special Conditions

Excepting that temporarily moored floating stands may be used, no person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Waikare any stand, hide, maimai or loo, which is permanently fixed to the lake bed except within 180 metres of the outer margin of the said lake, or the shore-line of that island known as Motu Nuia or Grape Island.

No person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Ngaroto any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo, except within 85 metres of the margin of the said lake.

No person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Rotokauri any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo, on any open water of the said lake.

It shall be an offence for any person to wilfully leave on the hunting ground any game bird(s) shot or the mutilated bodies of any game bird(s) shot.

It shall be an offence for any person to herd or drive black swan(s) for the purpose of hunting or killing them.

It shall be an offence to shoot game from any unmoored boat on the Waikato River north of the boat ramp at the confluence of the Mangawara Stream and the Waikato River at Taupiri on any of the first three days or the second weekend of the open season.
Open Season for Game in a Described Area of the Firth of Thames for the 1985 Game Season
An open season for game is declared in that area of the Firth of Thames hereinafter named the Firth of Thames Open Game Area and being that area that is enclosed between the boundary of the Auckland Acclimatisation District and a line connecting the points on that boundary by passing through Orere Point on the west side of the Firth and the southern headland of Fantail Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula subject to the conditions specified hereto and in the First Schedule.
Conditions.

Game may only be hunted or killed in the Firth of Thames Open Game Area in compliance with conditions specified for the Auckland Acclimatisation District 1985 open season for game.

Any licence authorising the holder to hunt or kill game within the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the 1985 open season for game shall similarly authorise the holder to hunt or kill game in the Firth of Thames Open Game Area.
