The Traffic (Papakura City and Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1985

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Papakura City and Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1985.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Papakura City and Manukau City) Notice No. 1 1978, dated the 21st day of June 1978* issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Papakura City and Manukau City adjacent to Papakura City, at Red Hill:

Boundary Road: from a point 400 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Opaheke Road to Hunua Road.

Cleveland Road: from the eastern boundary of Papakura City to a point 480 metres measured easterly generally along Clevedon Road to the said boundary.

Coskrey Road:

Dominion Road: from a point 300 metres measured southerly generally along the said road from Settlement Road to Hunua Road.

Hunua Road: from a point 420 metres measured southerly generally along Hunua Road from Settlement Road to the eastern boundary of Papakura City.

Red Hill Road: from Gibbs Crescent to Settlement Road.

Settlement Road: from a point 300 metres measured easterly generally along Settlement Road from Dominion Road to Red Hill Road.


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Papakura City, and Manukau City adjacent to Papakura City, at Red Hill:

Cleveland Road: from the eastern boundary of Papakura City to a point 380 metres measured easterly generally along Clevedon Road from the said boundary.

Dominion Road: from a point 300 metres measured southerly generally along Dominion Road from Settlement Road to Red Hill Road.

Settlement Road: from a point 300 metres measured easterly generally along Settlement Road from Dominion Road to a point 160 metres measured easterly generally along Settlement Road from Redcrest Avenue.

Commerce Act 1975

Notice is hereby given of Decision No. 117 of the Commerce Commission dated 14 March 1985:

This decision relates to an appeal made, in terms of section 99 of the Act, by the New Zealand Federation of Milk Stations Incorporated against certain decisions of the Secretary of Trade and Industry relating to cream and milk treatment allowances.

By this decision the Commission determined to uphold the Federation’s appeal and further determined that the date the Secretary’s price orders No. 293 and 294 should be varied to take effect from 1 March 1984 to give effect to this.
