A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments,
promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
PROVOST MARSHAL
Commander D. W. Palmer is appointed Provost Marshal of the Royal New Zealand Navy with effect from 10 December 1984, vice Commander D. Bell.
Commander John Francis Lowen is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 22 February 1987, with effect from 23 February 1985.
The appointment of Chaplain G. V. L. Broad is extended to 11 July 1988.
Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant Commander) G. R. Millar, N.Z.C.E. (Prod.), to be Lieutenant Commander with seniority and effect from 11 March 1985.
Lieutenant P. M. Molineaux to be Lieutenant Commander with seniority and effect from 11 March 1985.
Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant Commander) Neal Grant Catley, DIP. F. M. (HONS) is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 3 February 1987, in the rank of Lieutenant Commander, with effect from 4 February 1985.
The appointment of Lieutenant B. M. Coffey, B.SC., DIP.TCHG, is extended to 11 January 1992.
