Turakina Maori Girls' College, Marton (Attendance Dues) Notice 1985

Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Turakina Maori Girls' College, Marton.

NOTICE

  1. This notice shall be cited as the Turakina Maori Girls' College, Marton (Attendance Dues) Notice 1985.

  2. The proprietor of Turakina Maori Girls' College, Marton may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-mentioned school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

  3. Attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $240 per annum.

  4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvement to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens or other charges associated with any of the land or buildings that constitute the integrated school.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is hereby given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school:

De La Salle College, Mangere East.

The said supplementary integration agreement comes into effect on 11 February 1985. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is hereby given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school:

St Teresa's School, Plimmerton.

The said supplementary integration agreement comes into effect on 7 November 1984. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 111 of the Commerce Commission dated 14 February 1985. By this decision which relates to an alleged refusal by Richardson-Vicks Limited to supply the skin moisturiser “Oil of Ulan” to L. D. Nathan & Co. Limited, the Commission:

(a) Orders the discontinuance of and prohibits the repetition of the trade practice whereby Richardson-Vicks refuses to sell or supply “Oil of Ulan” moisturiser in any form to the Vanity and Maximart stores owned and/or operated by Nathans as enumerated in the Schedule hereto or any similar Vanity or Maximart store in future operated by Nathans; and

(b) Directs that Richardson-Vicks shall, no later than 1 May 1985, sell and supply “Oil of Ulan” to Nathans for the purpose of sale in the Woolworths Vanity and Maximart stores. Scheduled hereto upon such terms and conditions of trade as are not disadvantageous to either Richardson-Vicks or Nathans and that leave be given to Nathans to apply to the Commission in the event of any dispute as to what constitutes “disadvantageous terms and conditions of trade”.
