Validation of Reclamation of Land in Whau Creek by the Auckland Harbour Board

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 11th day of February 1985.
Present:
The Right Hon. G. W. R. Palmer presiding in Council
Pursuant to section 265 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby validates the reclamation by the Auckland Harbour Board of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that reclaimed endowment land in Whau Creek, comprising 940 square metres, more or less, as shown coloured yellow on Plan M.D. 16317, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington, being land reclaimed in excess of an authorisation conferred by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 24th day of March 1966 at page 406.

Reappointment of Member to the New Zealand Potato Board

Pursuant to section 4 of the Potato Industry Act 1977, I hereby reappoint:
Antonino L. Moleta, farmer of Opiki (on the nomination of the New Zealand Potato Growers Federation Inc. (Ward 2)), to be a member of the New Zealand Potato Board for a term of 3 years from 1 April 1985.

Extension of District Court Judge's Jurisdiction
Pursuant to section 5 (1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:
Gerhard James Secman, District Court Judge of Dunedin, to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts.

Pursuant to section 32 (1) (a) and (2) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:
Fenton Fitzherbert Latham, District Court Judge of Hamilton, to be a Chairman of the Licensing Committee for the Waikato Licensing District on and from the 15th day of January 1985.

Alfred Charles Shailes, retired, of Wellington, to be a member and chairman of the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council for a term of 3 years on and from the 15th day of February 1985.
