Franklin County Boundary Alteration Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 50 (2) (b) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Franklin County Boundary Alteration Notice 1985.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1985.

3. The boundaries of Franklin County are hereby altered by including within the said county, the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land reclaimed from the sea.

SCHEDULE

1.1480 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 88164, situated in Block IV, Drury Land District. All certificate of title 45C/1038.

Amending Determinations by the Minister of Customs Under Section 121 of the Customs Act 1966

PURSUANT to section 121 of the Customs Act 1966, the Minister of Customs hereby amends, in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto, the determinations made under the said section on the 5th day of December 1984 and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of December 1984 as pages 5710 and 5711.

SCHEDULE

PART I of the determination is hereby amended by:

(i) In respect of Class I vehicles inserting the following in Column Numbers 2 and 3:

"Column Number 2 Column Number 3
(iii) Cabs-built up These cabs must be entered for home consumption prior to 31 December 1985 and may be imported in fully finished condition provided they are entered under Tariff item 87.05.011 of the Customs Tariff and pay the rates of duty applying under that item."

(ii) In respect of Class II vehicles inserting the following in Column numbers 2 and 3:

"Column Number 2 Column Number 3
(iii) Cabs-built up These cabs may be imported in fully finished condition provided they are entered under Tariff item 87.05.029 of the Customs Tariff and pay the rates of duty applying under that item."

Part II of the determination is hereby amended by:

(i) In respect of paragraphs 1 and 2 deleting the word "him" and substituting "the Minister".

(ii) In respect of paragraph 3 deleting the words "in his discretion".
