Thence generally north-easterly along the ridge tops forming the
Rimutaka Range to a point on State Highway 2 and continuing
along the Tararua Range to Ashton Peak in Block I Eritonga Survey
District.
Thence generally westerly along Renata Ridge to a point opposite
the northern boundary of part Section 12, Block III, Akatarawa
Survey District thence by a right line to and along the northern
boundaries of that section, part Section 3, Lot 1, D.P. 619, Section
13 and Lot 1, D.P. 619, Block III, Akatarawa Survey District, the
northern boundaries of Sections 415, 947, 946, 415, a right line
across the Akatarawa Road to and along the northern boundaries
of part Lot 2 and 1, D.P. 612, Block II, Akatarawa Survey District
and continuing along the northern boundaries of Lot 11, D.P. 611,
the Maungakotukutuku Stream Reserve, to Maungakotukutuku
Road and Lot 15, D.P. 669, Block XIII, Kaitawa Survey District.
Thence generally southerly along the southern boundary of the
said Lot 15, the western boundaries of Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, D.P. 670,
Block I, Akatarawa Survey District, the southern boundary of the
said Lot 6 and its projection across Maungakotukutuku Road and
Stream thence along the true right bank of the Maungakotukutuku
Stream to the southernmost corner of Section 95, Block IV, Pac-
kakariki Survey District.
Thence generally south-westerly along the southern boundary of
Section 95 and its projection across an unnamed road thence along
the eastern and western boundaries of Lot 99, D.P. 672 to the south-
eastern corner of part Lot 3, D.P. 4269, thence along the southern
boundaries of the said part Lot 3 and part Lot 2, D.P. 4269 and
the projection of that line to the western side of Paekakariki Hill
Road thence northerly along the western side of that road to the
north-eastern corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 4268, thence westerly along
the northern boundary of the said part Lot 1 and its projection to
the eastern side of State Highway 1, thence south-westerly along the
eastern side of that Highway to a point where it meets the eastern
boundary of that part of the Wellington Fire District described in
the First Schedule of the New Zealand Gazette, dated 20 October
1983, page 3476.
Thence generally south along that boundary to the point where
it meets the mean high water at Porirua Harbour thence around
the high water being the eastern boundary of Porirua Harbour to
a point where it meets that part of the Wellington Fire District
described in the Second Schedule of the New Zealand Gazette, dated
20 October 1983, page 3476, thence along that boundary to the
point of commencement.

and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Pursuant to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency
the Governor-General has approved the following appointments,
promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of
officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Promotions
Flight Lieutenant R. E. Travers to be Squadron Leader with
seniority and effect from 28 September 1985.
Pilot Officer M. Pitt, B.Sc., to be Flying Officer with seniority and
effect from 10 October 1985.
Extension of Commission
The commission of Air Commodore F. M. Kinvig, O.B.E., A.F.C.,
is extended to 10 January 1986.
Transfer to Reserve
Wing Commander Robert Lacon Randal is transferred to the
Reserve of Air Force Officers until 16 November 1987, with effect
from 17 November 1985.
Flight Lieutenant Brian Kenley is transferred to the Reserve of
Air Force Officers until 22 October 1987, with effect from 23 October
1985.
ENGINEER BRANCH
Promotions
Flight Lieutenant G. D. Stanton, N.Z.C.E., to be Squadron Leader
with seniority and effect from 1 October 1985.

The commission and age for retirement of Flight Lieutenant
A. G. Ridley are extended to 26 September 1995.
Transfer to Reserve
Flight Lieutenant Ritchie Stephen is transferred to the Reserve
of Air Force Officers until 17 November 1989, with effect from 18
November 1985.
Retirement
Squadron Leader William Edwin Larking, B.E.M., is retired with
effect from 25 November 1985.
