ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of December 1985

Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Hutt Rural Fire District Order 1948, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Hutt Rural Fire District made on the 24th day of November 1948* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force from the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY

All that area in the Wellington Land District in the counties of Horowhenua and Hutt, the City of Upper Hutt and the Borough of Kapiti, containing 72893 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of part Lot 8, D.P. 983 in Block XV, Belmont Survey District, thence generally southerly along the western boundaries of that Lot and an unnamed road to the northern boundary of part Section 91, thence by a right line across that unnamed road and the northern boundary of part Sec-
tion 91, the western boundaries of part Lot 4, D.P. 983, Part C, Wainuiomata District, the northern boundary of part Section 30 and the projection of that line to the western side of Moores Valley Road. Thence southerly along the western side of that road to a point opposite the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 47028, Block XVII, Belmont Survey District.

Thence generally south-easterly by a right line to the north western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 47028 and the western boundaries of that Lot, sections 8, 6 and part 67 to the southernmost part of the Wainui-
