The Traffic (Taranaki County) Notice No. 1 1985

NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taranaki County) Notice
No. 1 1985.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely
populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70
kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2)
of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Taranaki County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 22nd
day of August 1975†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is
revoked.

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 150 of the Commerce
Commission dated 21 November 1985.

This decision declines to consent to an application made by
Glenbrook Representatives Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of New
Zealand Steel Limited, to acquire over 50 percent of the share capital
of Pacific Steel Limited.

The full text of this decision is available for inspection or purchase
from the Commission’s offices, Sixth Floor, 163 The Terrace,
Wellington (P.O. Box 10-273).

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road State
Highway No. 2

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated
20 November 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works
Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2,
Bethlehem to Tauranga section, for a width of 13 m on the northern
side across the frontage of Log 2, D.P. S. 30950, C.T. 27C/1005, as
more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan L.A. 23/34/4 and
accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager,
Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga and there available
for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
