Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road State Highway No. 1
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 November 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Putaruru to Ngutuwera Stream section, for a width of 13 metres on the eastern side across the frontages of Lot 1, D.P. S. 30380 (C.T. 27D/1442) and part Section 35, Block XV, Patetere North S.D. (C.T. 31A/92) as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan LA 23/13/2 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Description of Draft
DZ 8711/A Draft Amendment A to BS 4088:1981 Specification for carpet shampoos. Gratis.
This draft will amendment place on record the declaration of BS 4088:1981 as a New Zealand Standard, and amend the requirements for optical brightening agents and for the soiling procedure, to suit New Zealand conditions.
All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 20 February 1986.
