All that area in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle line of State Highway No. 8 and the production of the middle line of the spillway being part of the control structure at the southern outlet of Lake Pukaki; thence proceeding southerly to and along the middle of that spillway structure to and along the middle of the Pukaki River to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Run 336 (held in C.L. 10F/1319); thence westerly to and along that line to the north-eastern corner of the said part run; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundaries of part Runs 336, 294 (held in C.L. 895/96) and 292 (held in C.L. 529/231) to the southernmost point of the last-mentioned part run situated in Block XL, Stracath Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundary of that part Run 292 to and along the south-eastern boundary of parcels marked “A”, “D” and “C” on S.O. Plan 15709 to the south-western boundary of the Mackenzie County, described in the New Zealand Statutes of 1876, page 194; thence along said south-western boundary to a point in line with the middle of the dam forming the southern end of the Pukaki Canal as shown on air photo Survey Number 5049 and numbered G/6; thence north-easterly to and along the middle of the said canal to the middle of State Highway No. 8 as shown on air photo Survey Number 5649 and numbered F/7; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of the said State highway to the point of commencement; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan number OPS 4/1/5C10 and deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

I, Alexander King Ewing, Controller Marine Administration, pursuant to sections 8 and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950 and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968 hereby approve the Waipa County Lake Ngaroto Amendment Bylaw 1985 made by special order on 15 July 1985 and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the council held on 19 August 1985.
