Mount Roskill Borough Boundary Definition Notice 1985
Pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Mount Roskill Borough Boundary Definition Notice 1985.

The boundaries of Mount Roskill Borough are hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, following the inclusion in the borough of an area of proclaimed land by notice signed by the Minister of Local Government on 6 May 1982 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 May 1982, No. 54, page 1631.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Mount Roskill, containing 1870 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-easternmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 52784 and the line of mean high water (spring tide) of the Manukau Harbour in Block VIII, Titirangi Survey District and proceeding northerly along the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 52784 and the production of that boundary to the south-westernmost corner of Lot 20, D.P. 50576; thence northerly generally along the generally western boundaries of Lot 20, D.P. 50576, Lots 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4, D.P. 20689 to the north-western corner of the last mentioned lot; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 20689 and north-easterly along the north boundary side of Gillett Road to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 17417; thence northerly along the western boundary of that lot to its north-western corner; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, part Lot 3, Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 17417, Lot 3 and 2, D.P. 61240 and Lot 10, D.P. 17417 to its north-easternmost corner; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 51075, Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, D.P. 17417, Lot 2, D.P. 41094 and Lot 1, D.P. 41509 to its north-westernmost corner in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Lot 12, D.P. 41509 to its intersection with the eastern side of Lynbrooke Avenue; thence northerly along that side and along the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 47535 and the production of that boundary to a point in line with the production of the western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 38879; thence northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 7, D.P. 38879, along the eastern side of Boundary Road crossing the intervening Kimber Hall Avenue and Landsdowne Place to the north-western corner of Lot 8, D.P. 48765; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of the said lot to and easterly along the southern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 48765; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said lot and Lot 6, D.P. 53646 to the easternmost corner of the last mentioned lot; thence north-casterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 53646 and the production of the last mentioned boundary to the north-eastern side of John Davis Road; thence north-westerly along that north-eastern side to the north-western corner of Lot 8, D.P. 50880; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 8, D.P. 50880 to its north-eastern corner, thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, D.P. 50880, Lots 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, D.P. 51121 and the production of the last mentioned boundary to the north-western corner of Lot 27, D.P. 51121; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 275, D.P. 49063 being the intersection of the north-eastern sides of Richardson Road and Stoddard Road; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of Richardson Road crossing the intervening O’Donnell Avenue to a point in line with the production of the south-eastern side of Hendon Avenue; thence easterly along a right line to and along the northern boundary of Lot 12, D.P. 38570, the northern end of Waimwright Avenue, the northern boundary of part Lot 1111, D.P. 38524 to its north-easternmost corner, thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Lot 16, D.P. 53583, Allotment 354, Mt Roskill Parish (shown on S.O. 55396), along a right line across MeGahan Close to and along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 353, Titirangi Parish (shown on S.O. 55396), Allotment 296, Titirangi Parish (shown on S.O. 44495) and Lot 1, D.P. 32707 and the production of the last mentioned boundary to the middle of Owairaka Avenue; thence easterly along the middle of that road and the production of that boundary to the middle of Mount Albert Road; thence south-easterly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 54, D.P. 14054; thence northerly along a right line to and along the western boundaries of Lot 54, D.P. 14054 and Lot 55, D.P. 15470, the western end of Cambrai Avenue, the western boundaries of Lot 112, D.P. 15470 and Lot 113, D.P. 16857, along a right line across Louvain Avenue to and along the western boundaries of Lots 148 and 149, D.P. 16857, the western end of Admiral Beatty Avenue, the western boundaries of Lots 184 and 185, D.P. 16857, along a right line across Haig Avenue to and along the western boundaries of Lot 220, D.P. 16857, Lot 254, D.P. 13470 (part Mount Roskill Domain) and Lot 75, D.P. 18018 (part Mount Roskill Domain), the western end of Hazel Avenue, the western boundaries of Lots 33, D.P. 18018 and Lot 20B, D.P. 51609, along a right line across Invermay Avenue to and along the western boundary of Lot 19, D.P. 18018 to the north-western corner of the last mentioned lot; thence southerly along a right line to the intersection of the productions of the south-eastern side of Campbell Road and the southern side of Mount Albert Road; thence westerly along the aforesaid production of the southern side of Mount Albert Road to and along that southern side crossing the intervening Erson Avenue to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 54403; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Lot, part Lot 2, D.P. 33064, part Allotment 3, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland (shown on D.P. 26614), Lot 1, D.P. 9089, Lots 10, 11, 13, 14 and 28, D.P. 82864, Lot 39, D.P. 19444 and along a right line to the intersection of the western side of Pleasant Street and the southern side of Trafalgar Street; thence westerly along a right line being the production of the northern side of Beauchamp Avenue to the western side of Queenstown Road; thence southerly along that western side crossing the intervening Hendry Avenue to its intersection with the north-western side of Frederick Street in Block V, Otahuhu Survey District;
