PURSUANT to regulation 9A of the Import Control Regulations 1973 (S.R. 1980/246) the Secretary of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority, has decided on this occasion to make available to all except the original bidders and any who might be barred from tendering, those licences successfully bid for in Round 19 but for which payment has not been made.
This Supplement sets out the number of licence units available under various item codes and tariff items and shows the weighted average price at which each unit is available.
Requests for this licence should be made on the 'Request for Residual Licence' form which is obtainable from any office of the Department of Trade and Industry. These requests should be received by the Registrar of Tenders, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington (or be delivered by hand) by 5 p.m. on 14 October 1985.
Where demand for licence exceeds the supply, the allocation of licence will be by random computer selection. Applicants will be written to about the outcome of their requests for licence. Payments should not be made until invoices are received.
One month will be allowed for payment from the date of the invoice. Failure to pay will lead to the bidder being barred for a period of 2 years from all further tendering.
Any licence remaining after this initial allocation will be regarded as residual licence and will be issued at the weighted average price and be available up to 6 January 1986.
Licences issued under this provision will not qualify for continuity licence.
Licences issued will be valid until 30 April 1986.
There are no licences available for those items left blank.
