Termination of State of Local Civil Defence Emergency
Pursuant to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Albert Charles Hinkler Healey, do hereby declare that the state of Local Civil Defence Emergency declared on the 26th day of July 1985 at 4.25 p.m. in the Poverty Bay Combined Civil Defence District is hereby terminated.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Wanganui Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wanganui Licensing Committee on the 18th day of June 1985, made on order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Oasis Hotel, Waiouru.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Thursday, Saturday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Resolution to Vary Hours for Sale of Liquor at Trust Premises—Invercargill Licensing Trust
Pursuant to section 34B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1950, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on the 26th day of July 1985, resolved to vary the usual hours for the opening and closing for the sale of liquor of its premises known as the Clyde Tavern, situated at Clyde Street, Invercargill.
To the intent that on days other than those on which the premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) Where Anzac Day falls on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday—Opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) Where Anzac Day falls on any Friday or Saturday—Opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Resolution to Vary Hours for Sale of Liquor at Trust Premises—Invercargill Licensing Trust
Pursuant to section 35B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1950, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on the 26th day of July 1985, resolved to vary the usual hours for the opening and closing for the sale of liquor of its premises known as the Windsor Friars Liquor Barrel situated at Windsor, Invercargill and for the Rugby Friars Liquor Barrel situated at the corner of Elles Road and Tweed Street, Invercargill.
To the intent that on days other than those on which the premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
WINDSOR FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening. On late night shopping days the hours shall be opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 9 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 9 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Saturday, holidays excluding Anzac Day—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any Anzac Day—Opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening or opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 9 o’clock in the evening depending upon the closing hours specified for the trading day on which Anzac Day falls.
RUGBY FRIARS LIQUOR BARREL
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening with no lunch hour closing.
(b) On any Anzac Day—Opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening or opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 9 o’clock in the evening in accordance with the closing hours specified for the trading day on which Anzac Day falls.

NOTICE
SURVEYORS EXAMINATIONS
- The New Zealand Acts and Regulations written examination will be held on Friday, 22 November 1985 at 9 a.m.
Applications, on the proper form together with the prescribed fee must reach the Secretary of the Board before 1 November 1985.
- The professional interview will be held starting on Monday, 17 March 1986 at 8.45 a.m.
Applications, on the proper form together with the prescribed fee must reach the Secretary of the Board before 10 February 1986.
Application forms and further detailed information about the board’s requirements should be obtained from the undersigned.
