Declaring the Leasehold Estate in Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in Block II, Cromwell Survey District, Vincent County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Henry William Felton, as to a two-thirds share and Esme Addy Felton and the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited as to a one-third share under and by virtue of RLP No. 508 recorded in certificate of title, Volume 369, folio 77, subject to mining licence No. 588090 and 392478, and prospecting licence No. 618061 is hereby acquired for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of September 1985.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Roads in Blocks I, V and XIII, Waimate Survey District Waimate County

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the lands, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Waimate County Council pursuant to the said Section 323 and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
