Part III: Goods (p. 2264 to p. 2274 inclusive, as amended) omit and substitute new clauses 22 to 33:
"22. PARCELS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON ALL SERVICES
22.1 Definition:
The Corporation shall undertake to convey at parcels rates, terms and conditions any package of 35 kilograms or less in weight and 2.25 metres measured in any one dimension. However, where any package of either a greater weight or a greater dimension is tendered for carriage at parcel rates it may be accepted at the option of the Corporation provided that the weight or dimensions are such as will not cause inconvenience in handling. Weight in excess of 35 kilograms shall be treated as a separate consignment at the appropriate rate.
22.1.1 Light and bulky parcels: Light and bulky articles are to be charged at parcels rate plus 50%. The definition of light and bulky will be:
2.5 kilograms measuring greater than 0.03 m³
5 kilograms measuring greater than 0.04 m³
7.5 kilograms measuring greater than 0.05 m³
10 kilograms measuring greater than 0.08 m³
15 kilograms measuring greater than 0.10 m³
20 kilograms measuring greater than 0.15 m³
25 kilograms measuring greater than 0.20 m³
35 kilograms measuring greater than 0.30 m³
22.1.2 Terms and conditions: The acceptance and carriage of parcels shall be in accordance with clause 20 of the General Scale of Charges except that hazardous or dangerous goods and motor-cycles will not be accepted, and clauses 20.14.4 and 20.14.5 shall not apply to the carrying of parcels.
22.2 Rates to be prepaid
The charges on consignments forwarded as parcels must be prepaid.
22.3 Separate rates for each package
Except where otherwise provided, each parcel shall be charged for separately.
22.4 Parcels consigned inter-island
The zone rates for parcels traffic consigned inter-island include the sea or air charge, whichever may apply.
22.5 Dangerous goods
Dangerous goods shall not be accepted as parcels traffic.
22.6 Presentation in advance
Parcels must be presented at the depot at least 30 minutes before the due time of departure of the service by which they are to be forwarded.
"23. PARCELS CLASSIFICATION
Except as may be otherwise provided parcels shall be charged for carriage by Corporation services in accordance with the following alphabetic commodity classification.
