In the notice published in the Gazette, 31 January 1985, No. 18, page 404, the grid references for West Hoe Pass and Newton Pass should have read 844577 and 848574 respectively, on NZMS 1 sheet S79.

The Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 1, 1985
In the notice with the above heading, which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette on 25 July 1985, No. 138, page 3184, line 11, where it states:
"The Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated the 15th day of June 1971..." read
"The Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 15th day of June 1971..."

Land Taken for the Generation of Electricity in Block III, Cromwell Survey District, Vincent County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable Sir David Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be taken for the generation of electricity and to vest in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette.

Pursuant to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby appoints Peter Herbert Elworthy of Timaru as a Director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, to hold office during pleasure for a term of 3 years from the 1st day of September 1985.
