a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Pahau River

being also a point on the western boundary of the Waiau Irrigation
District—Gazette, 1977, page 2382, situated in Block V, Culverden
Survey District and proceeding north-westerly along the said left
bank to a point in line with the south-eastern side of School Road;
thence north-easterly to and along the said roadside to a point in
line with the western boundary of Section 89, Culverden Settlement;
thence northerly and easterly to and along the western and northern
boundaries of the said Section 89 to the western boundary of Section
88, Culverden Settlement; thence, northerly, easterly, southerly and
again easterly, southerly and again easterly along the western,
northern, eastern and northern boundaries of the said Section 88
to the western side of Homestead Road (formerly Hamiltons Road)
thence northerly and easterly along the western side and the northern
end of Homestead Road to the middle thereof; thence southerly
along the middle of Homestead Road and The Avenue to a point
in line with the northern boundary of Section 16, Culverden
Settlement; thence westerly and southerly to and along the said

Present
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the 14th day after
the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette,
be national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980 and shall
be added to and form part of the Nelson Lakes National Park.

Pursuant to section 13 of the Reserves Act 1977, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby declares the scenic reserve described in
the First and Second Schedules hereto, to be a national reserve,
subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Appointment of Lay Member to the Taranaki, Wanganui and
Manawatu District Law Societies Disciplinary Tribunals
Pursuant to section 103 (2) (b) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Leonard Frank Partner, retired of Palmerston North
to be a lay member of the Taranaki, Wanganui and Manawatu
District Law Societies Disciplinary Tribunals, for a period of 3 years
on and from the date hereof.

Appointing an Inspector for the Shantytown Local Railway
Pursuant to section 178 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development hereby appoints
Henry Edgar Clarke of Greymouth, civil engineer
to be the inspector of the Shantytown local railway operated by the
West Coast Historical and Mechanical Society Incorporated on and
after the 25th day of July 1985.
