Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in the Bay of
Islands Acclimatisation District
THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice
published in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, No. 57,
of 2 April 1985 at page 1475, relating to the game that may be
hunted or killed and the duration of the 1985 season, is amended
as follows:
In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Bay
of Islands Acclimatisation Society:

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
-
It shall be an offence for any person to wilfully leave on the
hunting ground any black swan(s) or parts of bodies of black swan(s)
or other game, shot in the Bay of Islands Acclimatisation District. -
The approval to hunt or kill waterfowl while not in flight, as
stated in the First Schedule of this notice, shall not apply in respect
of black swan (Cygnus atratus) at Lake Omāpere where the hunting
or killing of black swan not in flight shall be an offence.

In the matter of the Broadcasting Act 1976, and in the matter of
an application by the BROADCASTING CORPORATION OF NEW
ZEALAND to amend warrant in relation to a relay station at
Reefton:
Chairman: B. H. Slane.
Members: Ann E. Wilson, R. H. Boyd-Bell.
DECISION
The Reefton area of Westland is served by a 100 watt repeater
transmitter co-sited with the television translator which also serves
that community. The transmitter, operating on 1521 kHz carries
the 3ZA Greymouth community programme.
