Land in Nelson City Held for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1955 Declared to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 41A of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

All that piece of land containing 2359 square metres, situated in the City of Nelson, being Lot 30, D.P. 9961.

Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the Rerewahakaitu Recreation Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.

Hillary College Board of Governors Notice 1985

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Hillary College Board of Governors Notice 1985.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  2. The Board of Governors of Hillary College shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) Twelve members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
    (d) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

Southern Secondary School’s Board of Governors Notice 1985

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Southern Secondary School’s Board of Governors Notice 1985.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  2. The Board of Governors of Papatoetoe High School, Aorere College and Tangaroa College, and of any other secondary school for the time being placed under the control of that board shall be known as the Southern Secondary Schools’ Board of Governors and shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member elected by the Auckland Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of all schools controlled by the board;
    (c) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Papatoetoe High School;
    (d) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Aorere College;
    (e) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Tangaroa College;
    (f) One member co-opted by the board itself and when it thinks fit.

  3. The terms of office of all existing members of the Southern Secondary Schools’ Board shall cease on the 31st day of July 1985 and the term of the new board, as constituted by clause 2 of this notice, shall commence on the 1st day of August 1985.

  4. The Southern Secondary Schools’ Board of Governors Notice 1976* is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to section 154 (1) of the Education Act 1964, notice is hereby given that Whangamata Area School, Whangamata, has been designated as the replacement school for Whangamata Primary School, Whangamata.
