From the Mangere Motorway Bridge along the Mount Roskill - Wiri Motorway in a southerly direction, including the motorway ramps to and from Rimu Road, then along McKenzie Road, Kirkbridge Road, Massey Road and Buckland Road to the junction with Portage Road at the western boundary of the City of Papatoetoe. From the southern boundary of the City of Papatoetoe southwards along the Great South Road to the junction with the Auckland - Hamilton Motorway at Redoubt Road and at Wiri.

Revoking Declaration of State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State Highway described in the First Schedule below is revoked, and that the public highways described in the Second Schedule below are declared to be State highways within the meaning and for the purpose of the National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Detailed Description of State Highways in Towns
Wellington—No. 1 State Highway
As described in Part II of the Schedule to that notice declaring State Highways as published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, No. 20 at page 384.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Detailed Description of State Highways in Towns
Wellington—No. 1 State Highway
From the north boundary of the City of Wellington at Tawa along the Wellington - Foxton Motorway (via the Johnsonville bypass), to and down the Ngauranga Gorge on to the Wellington Urban Motorway, thence along Aotea Quay, Waterloo Quay, Customhouse Quay and Jervois Quay to its terminus at Taranaki Street.
Wellington—No. 2 State Highway
From Ngauranga along the Wellington Urban Motorway to its terminus at Ghuznee Street.
General Description of State Highways
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno - Wellington via Gisborne)—Extending the State Highway as described in Part I of the Schedule declaring State Highways as published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, No. 20 at page 384; such that it proceeds to Wellington via Petone, Ngauranga and on to the Wellington Urban Motorway to its terminus at Ghuznee Street.

The Standards Act 1965—Corrigenda to Standard Specification
CORRIGENDA have been issued to NZS 3604:1984 Code of practice for light timber frame buildings not requiring specific design.
Copies of the corrigenda are available free of charge from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 13-23 Sturdee Street (Private Bag), Wellington.

Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release of Deposit
JARDINE GLANVILL INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED (“the company”) has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the Classes of insurance business in New Zealand designated as Classes 1 and 4 in the First Schedule of the Insurance Companies’
Deposits Act 1953 (“the Act”) and that pursuant to section 19 of the Act proposes to withdraw the deposit which it has made with the Public Trustee.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act that on being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release the deposit to the company on or after 28 February 1985.
Any objections to the release of the deposit should be lodged with the Public Trustee, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on or before 22 February 1985.

Transport Licensing Authority Sitting
PURSUANT to sections 119, 120, 121 and 136 of the Transport Act 1962 the No. 6, Transport Licensing Authority, I. P. Wollerman, gives notice of the under-mentioned applications and will hold a public sitting at the New Plymouth Courthouse, Robe Street, New Plymouth on Wednesday, 20 February 1985, commencing not before 10.30 a.m. to hear evidence for or against granting them.

Delete Special Condition that appeared as Special Condition No. 5 on Continuous Passenger Service Licence No. 0453 “Only passengers travelling to points south of Te Kuiti may be carried on the 12.45 a.m. Auckland to New Plymouth service.” from Newmans Coach Lines Ltd’s New Plymouth to Auckland and return Passenger Transport Service Licence (yet to be issued).
Correct departure time from Te Kuiti on new Auckland - New Plymouth timetable from 2.50 a.m. on Monday-Saturday as advertised to read 3 a.m.
Goods New. Boyd Anthony Johns, 1 Fairfax Terrace, New Plymouth. New Goods Transport Service Licence with following special condition: “Licence is exempt from section 109 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 for the conveyance of general goods which have been, or are to be, conveyed by rail to or from the following stations pursuant to special contracts with the N.Z. Railways Corporation.
(a) New Plymouth Station—Exempt area to be bounded by Waitara, Te Wera and Hawera Stations.
(b) Hawera Station—Exempt area to be bounded by Stratford, Te Wera and Waverley Stations.
NOTE:
(a) The carriers waybill must show the relevant consignment note or wagon number for all goods carried under this exemption.”
Passenger Amendment. Dominion Coachlines Ltd., P.O. Box 30-285, Lower Hutt. Amend Passenger Transport Service Licence No. 09376 by changing New Plymouth departure time from 2.50 p.m. to 10 a.m. Monday to Saturday.
