APPOINTMENT OF RETURNING OFFICER AND POLLING PLACES

It is hereby notified that John Alexander Warner has been appointed Returning Officer for the Timaru Electoral District.

Polling Places Appointed Under the Electoral Act 1956

DAVID BEATTIE, Governor-General.

Pursuant to the Electoral Act 1956, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby abolish all existing polling places in the electoral district of Timaru, and hereby appoint the places mentioned in the Schedule below to be polling places for the said electoral district.

The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 1, 1985

In the notice with the above heading, which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette on 26 April 1985, No. 73, page 1743, First Schedule, line 7, where it states:

"Hinau Place, Hydro Road: from Awakeri Road to a point . . ."

read:

"Hinau Place Hydro Road: from Awakeri Road to a point . . ."
